This is a pretty neat find. This book, Common Prayer Hymns, is just a different title of the Church of England’s Book of Common Prayer. And like the Gideon Bible’s of today being found in hotels the world over, this version of the book was given away by the big-time British shipping company – The White Star Line. And if the name sounds familiar, it’s probably because you’ve heard of one of their ships, the Titanic.
